I have 9 years of experience successfully working with adults, teens, and children ages 6 and up. I am trained in EMDR and have received advanced training in EMDR for children and EMDR with sandtray, as well as extensive training in trauma-informed care. I'm passionate about providing gender-affirming care and a safe space for identity exploration. My primary therapeutic modalities are client-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, DBT-informed, parts work/IFS-informed, Child-Centered Play Therapy, somatic, and existential.
People often describe me as warm and gentle but direct; I'm told I have a calming presence. I like to be playful when the time is right. I work really well with clients who don't fit the mold (pick a mold).
I earned my Master of Social Work from University of Denver with concentrations in mental health and family systems. I'm an avid reader, a writer, and an animal lover, which unfortunately does not mean my own pets are particularly well-behaved.
